Ragging is declared as an unlawful activity by the Supreme Court of India.
The government of india has banned ragging in all schools, colleges, and universities across india and has recommended harsh actions against persons indulging in ragging.
Ragging is strictly prohibited anywhere, both inside the institute premises and also outside the institute premises.
All students are explicity warned not to indulge in ragging nor encourage anyone else nor be a spectator to any such activity. Ragging includes all activites as defined by the supreme court of India.
An F.I.R. shall be registered with police against the guilty and the guilty shall be summarily expelled from the institute.
